  15. yes there is. i use a hewlett packard hp35470a scsi dat drive (max 2gb per
  16. tape without compression) since 2 years. backup speed is 10-12mbyte per
  17. minute incl. verify. i guess every dat streamer with scsi interface should be
  18. ok.

  20. my streamer has been connected to an amiga 2000 with gvp series ii scsi
  21. hostadapter, an amiga 3000 with internal scsi hostadapter and an amiga 500
  22. with a590 (it`s a real party mix dave) scsi adapter. worked in any case
  23. without problems (20-25 gb backuped yet). just plug and play hehehe.

  25. suggested software is amiback 2.0i or quarterback 6.0 for making several
  26. backups on one tape.

  28. you can`t play or record audio dat tapes. sgi does, amiga won`t.

  30. never use this "backup on audio dat recorder" solutions. no automatic verify,
  31. no automatic search, lots of trouble if audio tape is corrupt.
